Vikram Chatwal, the hard-partying hotel scion who founded the Dream Hotel Group, has been charged with animal cruelty, criminal mischief, and reckless endangerment after witnesses say he tried to torch two small dogs outside his SoHo condo on October 7 in New York City.
Judge Steve Statsinger also issued an order of protection on behalf of the two Jack Russell Terriers, Molly and Finnegan; their owner, gallery owner Sean Kelly; and the dog walker.
Witnesses said Chatwal, 44, stormed up to the two dogs as they were being walked outside his home near Wooster and Grand Street at about 11:30 A.M., babbled about “fleas” and set them alight with a blowtor…
