Death Penalty Upheld for OH Killer who Murdered Witness: A Cincinnati man who murdered his girlfriend, former attorney and a witness to one of his crimes has had his conviction and death sentence for killing the witness upheld by the Ohio Supreme Court. Lauren Pack of WHIO reports that Calvin McKelton, 39, was convicted in 2010 of the 2008 murders of his girlfriend, Margaret Allen, and a criminal defense attorney who previously represented him. He was also convicted and sentenced to death for the 2009 murder of Germaine Evans, who McKelton killed to prevent from testifying.
