Police release photo of man sought in connection with NYC blast

A bomb exploded inside a shopping mall in the Philippines capital of Manila on Wednesday injuring 10 people.
No motive has been suggested for the blast, which was caused by a crude, homemade device.
Muslim rebels have threatened to target cities in the Philippines after recent sectarian violence in the south of the country.
A bomb exploded inside an upscale shopping mall in Manila’s financial district on Wednesday injuring at least 10 people, officials said.
The blast, which occurred during the afternoon rush hour, shattered store windows in the Glorietta Mall and along a pedestrian bridge connecting the mall to a parking facility.
Witnesses said they saw bloodied people fleeing the area near the explosion and glass shards littering the street.
The injured included at least six young males, two young females, and two men, officials said.
The explosion shook the area, called Makati, and caused ceilings to collapse in nearby shops and lights to shatter.
Police described the bomb as “an improvised homemade explosive”.
They are to question a security guard who said he saw someone near the area before the explosion.
The bomb was placed in front of a toilet in the Fashion Cafe, a restaurant that featured fashion shows.
The cafe, which recently closed, is next to an arcade which was also damaged.
Authorities had no comment on who may have been responsible for the explosion.
There was no immediate indication of whether it was connected to a recent threat by Muslim rebels to target Philippine cities.
Recent fighting between the rebels and government forces in the southern Philippines has killed scores of people and injured hundreds of others.
